Jennifer Hudson's AOL Sessions

Still busily promoting her new music offering, Jennifer Hudson paid a visit to AOL Studios in Beverly Hills, California earlier today (March 26).

The "American Idol" alum was looking lovely in a pretty pink and black ensemble as she performed tunes from her just-released album "I Remember Me" for AOL Music's Sessions. Clearly comfortable whenever she takes the stage, Jen recently spoke to Pride magazine about finding strength in music - especially following the tragic murders of mother, brother and nephew during a shooting spree in October 2008.

Hudson told Pride: "My music is my therapy. Someone asked me to do a film about a year back, and I was like, 'No, I can't do a film right now because I can't be someone else if I don't know who I am.'"

The 29-year-old added: "I'm just trying to figure out where I am and who I am right now, and I could only resort back to music because that's like my home, my first love, my therapy, my everything. When I wake up in the morning I can't function if music is not playing, I can't even start the day, so it's a base for me."

Britney Spears Takes the Stage in Las Vegas!

Making her much-awaited return to the stage, Britney Spears offered up a comeback performance in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday night (March 25).

Held at Rain nightclub inside the Palms Hotel & Casino, the pop princess was all business as she worked the stage with her dancers while performing three songs for a crowd of nearly 700 fans in attendance.Among the highlights, a scantily clad Spears belted out her hit single "Hold It Against Me" while giving a smooch to one of her backup dance team members in the midst of the song.

Being taped for an MTV special airing next week, Britney also treated the audience to renditions of "Big Fat Bass" and "Till the World Ends".

With the show coming just ahead of the March 29th release of her new album Femme Fatale, Miss Spears tweeted just before the gig's kickoff, writing, "Can't wait to take the stage again at midnight...." She added, "Pumped! Here we go people... -Britney"

Paying a visit to one of her favorite eateries, Rihanna spent Friday night (March 25) chowing down at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California.

The Barbadian beauty, who visited the upscale restaurant the previous weekend as well, was joined by her regular security staffer as she exited following a relaxing weekend-beginning meal. On the career front, RiRi has been rumored to have been told to nix her North America tour plans due to low sales - but insiders say that those claims are totally false.

With her new movie "Sucker Punch" having just hit theaters, Vanessa Hudgens celebrated with a night on the town in Sherman Oaks, CA on Friday (March 25).

The "High School Musical" hottie hit up local hotspot Trousdale with a gal pal as she tried to thwart paparazzi efforts by covering her face with a grey hoodie. At one point, Miss Hudgens suffered a handbag malfunction - as the contents of her purse dumped all over the ground as she was getting in and out of her ride.

As for "Sucker Punch," the Zack Snyder directed flick enjoyed a late night surge at the box office to ease into the top spot by pulling in $8.1 million from 3,033 theaters.

Immersing herself in the Big Apple nightlife after having flown into town earlier in the day, Kim Kardashian was courtside for the New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden on Friday (March 25, 2011).

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star was joined by gal pals Angela Simmons and La La Vasquez as they watched the hometown team fall to the Milwaukee Bucks by a score of 102-96. And while she's certainly been spending plenty of time out east, reports of a move to NYC have been nixed following claims by OK! magazine that Kim is planning to move and marry basketball player beau Kris Humphries.

Miss Kardashian's good friend Jonathan Cheban told E!, “I know she loves seeing him (Kris) so she’s making lots of New York trips. They’re so very happy together. Kim’s whole family is out there, and I think she’ll make him move to the Lakers before she moves to New York.”

Britney Spears Makes Triumphant Return to the Stage

To the delight of her legions of fans, Britney Spears made a triumphant return to the stage in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday night (March 25).

The 29-year-old pop star treated concertgoers to a three-song set at the Palms Casino Resort's Rain Nightclub as she gears up for the March 29th release of her new album Femme Fatale. During the gig, Britney offered up dance-infused renditions of "Hold It Against Me," "Big Fat Bass," and "Till The World Ends" - which are all included in her much-awaited disc.

Getting a positive response from the lucky attendees, jewelry designer Heather Bettes told MTV News, "It was fantastic. Britney Spears, she looks stellar. She killed it. She really brought it The beading is amazing on her costumes. She looked great. She brought it."

Meanwhile, Spears was also overjoyed with the Sin City effort, as she tweeted upon show's end, "OMFG it feels good to be on stage again!!"

With her career moving forth with the utmost success, Victoria Justice has landed herself the lead role in the upcoming movie "Fun Size".

The picture is being produced by Paramount while TV guru Josh Schwartz will be making his feature directing debut as head of the project. As for the plotline, "Fun Size" tells the tale of "a sarcastic teenage girl who is forced to take her little brother trick-or-treating on Halloween, then loses him and must find him before their mother finds out," according to THR.

With filming set to kickoff in Minnesota this Spring, Miss Justice nabbed the role after beating out fellow young actresses Chloe Moretz and Jane Levy.

They starred together in 1956’s “Giant” and Elizabeth Taylor held a lifelong secret about James Dean that was just released.

The late actress, who passed away this week, told journalist Kevin Sessums that he had to keep the secret under wraps until after she died. Taylor explained, “I loved Jimmy. I’m going to tell you something, but it’s off the record until i die. OK?”

She continued, "When Jimmy was 11 and his mother passed away, he began to be molested by his minister. I think that haunted him the rest of his life. In fact, I know it did. We talked about it a lot. During Giant we'd stay up nights and talk and talk, and that was one of the things he confessed to me."

It’s a rite of passage for all strapping young men about to tie the knot, and this weekend Prince William will celebrate the end of his singlehood with a proper bachelor party.

He’s always on the go, and earlier today (March 25) Chris Brown was spotted catching a flight at Richmond International Airport in Richmond, Virginia.

As her big album release/promotional efforts near, Britney Spears enjoyed downtime by going shopping with the boys in Calabasas, CA on Wednesday (March 23).

The "Hold It Against Me" singer walked alongside Sean Preston as a staffer toted Jayden James while the group browsed through the clothing offerings at the local mall's Gymboree store.

As for her new music on the way, "Femme Fatale" is set to be released for purchase next Tuesday , March 29th. Of the effort, Spears recently told Rolling Stone, "I wanted it to sound different from everything else out right now. I also wanted to experiment with all the different types of music I love, which is why you hear a mixture of pop, hip-hop and dance throughout the album. I also really wanted to play with my voice and change up my sound here and there, which was really fun."

Britney also mentioned, "I only wanted songs that I immediately connected to. I also wanted to make sure that this album was completely different from Circus or anything else I had ever recorded. I love Circus, but I wanted something darker and edgier. I also wanted to make an album and didn't want to just record a bunch of songs and put them together. I think Femme Fatale is really connected from start to finish."

Also in the house were Vanessa’s partners in crime Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Jamie Chung, Jon Hamm, and director Zack Snyder, as well as "Camp Rock" star Joe Jonas and actresses Diane Lane and Emma Roberts.

Billy Ray Cyrus Talks Fatherhood Failure

It has been quite a year for Billy Ray Cyrus, from divorce filings (he has since called it off) to an explosive GQ interview, but now he’s saying things are getting back to normal.

The singer/actor told press that his failures as a husband and father were due to his lack of ability to deal with his fame and led to a volatile family situation. "I did kind of approach being a dad as a friend. I was a great playmate. I mean, for teaching [my children] how to camp and build fires and ride motorcycles and four-wheelers, and horses, and all those fun kind of things. I was really good at that."

"As far as sitting down and doing algebra and science, the homework, I wasn't very good at that. So I look back on it and think, 'You know what? Maybe, no doubt, I could have been a better dad.'"

Cyrus added, "You know, when you get in this industry and … you strike so hard for that moment. But, fame is dangerous."

He’s nailed the whole “good guy/bad guy” routine in his expansive film career and now Sylvester Stallone is looking to add clothing designer to his resume

The “Rocky” actor will launch a men’s lifestyle brand called Sly Inc in 2012 along with veteran beauty and retail honcho Michael Henry. Stallone told press, “I thought the time is now. I’ve lived a life where I know what has worked and what hasn’t worked. Clothing is the first step to building a character.”

For instance, Sly says his getup as Rocky Balboa was key to defining the role. “If he wore white and pleated pants, it would have been a whole different thing. Clothes affect one’s attitude.”

Henry added, “Sylvester Stallone enjoys being well dressed and he has great advice to offer on clothing and accessory options. He appreciates being comfortable in his clothes, having the right fit, wearing fine watches and eyewear, and he demands only the best materials for this brand.”

“Captain America” Releases New Trailer: Watch Now!

It’s already one of the most anticipated movies of the summer and now “Captain America” has released a new extended trailer.

In the clip, star Chris Evans experiences a major change, from a skinny kid (thanks to CGI effects) to a pumped-up super soldier. From there he leads the armed forces attack on the Nazi regime, with a plotline filled with plenty of action and adventure.

Chris Brown Talks “GMA” Explosion

He’s been trying so hard to overcome his reputation for losing his temper, so when Chris Brown threw a tantrum at “Good Morning America” earlier this week, it was a huge personal letdown.

The “No Air” singer was very apologetic during his recent interview on BET Network’s “106 & Park” program.

Chris explained, "First of all, I want to apologize to anybody who was startled in the office, or anybody who was offended or really looked, and [was] disappointed at my actions, because I'm disappointed in the way I acted." Brown says the reason for his outburst came from being questioned about his 2009 abuse of Rihanna. “I had to release the anger that I had inside of me. Yes, I got very emotional and I apologize for acting like that.”

Robin Roberts, who did the interview, expressed surprise over the whole ordeal. "I wish him the absolute best. We extended the invitation to him [to come back], and sure hope he takes us up on it because I'd sure love to have another chat with him."

She continued, "Any time we have a guest, we let them know ahead of time the subject matter and the topics. And even right before the interview I let him know. I was shocked like everyone else, because we've had a wonderful relationship. I've been to his home, he's very gracious, and we've had easy conversation."

She gave an hour-long interview on “Musicians @ Google Presents: Google Goes Gaga” yesterday, and Lady Gaga was excited to talk about her new video for the single “Judas.”

The “Born This Way” songstress shared that she’ll be directing the project, along with her creative director Laurieann Gibson.

Gaga gushed, "I'm very excited. Actually, I can exclusively reveal here at Google that I will be making my directorial debut with Laurieann Gibson, directing this video with her ourselves."

She added, "It's no surprise, I'm sure, to many of you, that Judas is a man of the biblical senses, so expect to see some symbolism in this video."

Of the track, Gaga explained, "You have to look into what is haunting you and you need to look into forgiving yourself in order to move on. And it's really fun to dance to and sounds like it could be a pop priest record."

Elizabeth Taylor Passes Away at Age 79

She was a true Hollywood icon, and earlier today (March 23) Elizabeth Taylor passed away at 79 years of age.

The legendary actress died at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Her publicist told press, "She was surrounded by her children: Michael Wilding, Christopher Wilding, Liza Todd, and Maria Burton.”

A statement by Michael Wilding read, "My Mother was an extraordinary woman who lived life to the fullest, with great passion, humor, and love. Though her loss is devastating to those of us who held her so close and so dear, we will always be inspired by her enduring contribution to our world. Her remarkable body of work in film, her ongoing success as a businesswoman, and her brave and relentless advocacy in the fight against HIV/AIDS, all make us all incredibly proud of what she accomplished. We know, quite simply, that the world is a better place for Mom having lived in it. Her legacy will never fade, her spirit will always be with us, and her love will live forever in our hearts."

In her interview in the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar, Taylor chuckled, "I never planned to acquire a lot of jewels or a lot of husbands. I have been supremely lucky in my life in that I have known great love, and of course, I am the temporary custodian of some incredible and beautiful things."

Justin Bieber, Rihanna & U2’s Album for Japan Relief

Musicians are always ready to help out for a good cause, and it has been announced that Justin Bieber, Rihanna, and U2 are joining forces to raise money for disaster relief in Japan.

According to a report, the Universal Music artists are scurrying to put the compilation album together and hope to have it done by the end of this week. From there, they will release the album on a digital-only basis, with all proceeds going to the Japanese Red Cross.

Justin tweeted, "Japan is one of my favorite places on earth ... it's an incredible culture with amazing people. My prayers go out to them. We all need to help, by being one of the first on board for the project."

Her new album drops today (March 22) and Jennifer Hudson celebrated with a festive release party at Tenjune in NYC on Monday night (March 21).

The “American Idol” alum joined up with producer Clive Davis and a group of loved ones as she readied for her "I Remember Me" disc to be made available to the public.

The celebratory affair followed a busy day for Jennifer, as she performed her hits as part of the Spring Concert Series on "Good Morning America". Meanwhile, during a recent interview with MTV, Miss Hudson explained everything that went into making the album, including the past 29 years of her life.

"I decided to name the album I Remember Me 'cause I feel like, in 29 years, I've lived four different lives and there's nothing the same as it was 10 years ago for me today, and so that's where it came from."

"I feel like my life is different chapters of a book. It's like, OK, what's going to happen in this next chapter or this chapter is completely different than the first one, so that's why [it's called I Remember Me]."

Courteney Cox & David Arquette's "Scream 4" Interview

Their marriage is definitely on the rocks, and Courteney Cox and David Arquette don’t look to be resolving things in the foreseeable future.

But they looked as happy as ever last year when filming and interview while working on their new movie “Scream 4” together.

Cox told press, "[Director Wes Craven has] done so many scary movies, and I'll say, 'Wes, now what do you think? How would I react if someone came up behind me with a knife, and they stabbed me?' And he's like, 'You know, Courteney, it's never happened to me.'" She continued, "I'm just thinking, 'Okay, well, what about the 80 movies that you've made? How did it go with those people?' [Wes is] just funny, really funny."

Costar Neve Campbell noted that Courteney and David were awesome to work with. "It's fun working with Courteney and David -- I think they're hilarious together. Their characters are sweet and wonderful and funny in a lot of ways."

"Coming back the first day, I was just very excited to see everyone; I was really psyched to see Courteney and David and Wes and the crew, and we're very much like a family now. Sidney, Gale, Dewey, I think they're characters that audiences are fond of and we are fond of."

As he continues along with his overseas "My World" tour, Justin Bieber made time to tape an appearance on the popular German show "Wetten, Dass..." in Augsburg on Saturday night (March 19).

With the episode airing Sunday morning, the "Never Say Never" star paid the visit after having a previously scheduled stop on the Thomas Gottschalk hosted variety show canceled due to an accident sending a stunt performer to the hospital. As for the appearance, Bieber took to the Augsburg fairground locale while partaking in an interview, solving a Rubik’s Cube, hugging a contestants’s daughter and performing for the audience.

Getting in promotional mode as his movie's just over a month away from release, Robert Pattinson tended to press efforts with an exclusive session with MTV on Friday (March 18).

The "Twilight" hunk spent a half hour partaking in a live chat during which a brand new clip from "Water for Elephants" was also revealed. During the sitdown, Pattinson was asked numerous questions including his preference in ladies, to which he replied, "I like hot girls. I like being in movies with lots of hot girls. Talking about her much-awaited release, Spears recently told Rolling Stone, “I wanted to make a fresh-sounding album for the clubs or something that you play in your car when you’re going out at night that gets you excited."

Looking to be working through their differences, Billy Ray Cyrus has called off his divorce and reunited with his wife Tish.

The "Achy Breaky Heart" singer filed legal papers to end the 17-year union in October of 2010, also blaming the success of his daughter Miley's Disney show "Hannah Montana" for "destroying" his family. But Cyrus has been working hard to repair the family fall-out since his GQ magazine comments caused a tabloid storm - and he now reveals things are back on track with his wife and his kids.

In an appearance on U.S. talk show The View, due to air on Friday (March 18), the 49 year old says, "I've dropped the divorce. I want to put my family back together... Things are the best they've ever been."
