With her new movie "Sucker Punch" having just hit theaters, Vanessa Hudgens celebrated with a night on the town in Sherman Oaks, CA on Friday (March 25).

The "High School Musical" hottie hit up local hotspot Trousdale with a gal pal as she tried to thwart paparazzi efforts by covering her face with a grey hoodie. At one point, Miss Hudgens suffered a handbag malfunction - as the contents of her purse dumped all over the ground as she was getting in and out of her ride.

As for "Sucker Punch," the Zack Snyder directed flick enjoyed a late night surge at the box office to ease into the top spot by pulling in $8.1 million from 3,033 theaters.

Vanessa Hudgens Premieres “Sucker Punch”

It’s been a long time coming, and earlier tonight (March 23) Vanessa Hudgens was spotted at the Los Angeles premiere of “Sucker Punch.”

The “Bandslam” actress looked super hot as she made her arrival at Mann Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, throwing down a few poses for the paparazzi before heading inside. Also in the house were Vanessa’s partners in crime Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, Jamie Chung, Jon Hamm, and director Zack Snyder, as well as "Camp Rock" star Joe Jonas and actresses Diane Lane and Emma Roberts.

According to a press release, “Sucker Punch” is “an epic action fantasy that takes the viewer into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality.”

Vanessa Hudgens' Legal Matters, "Sucker Punch" Clip

She's been plagued with another round of risque photos being released, and Vanessa Hudgens was busy spotted seriously going about the day's business in Studio City, CA on Thursday afternoon (March 17).

The "Beastly" babe stopped off at a gas station after recently meeting with the FBI as they investigate an alleged ring of hackers who stole personal files from Hudgens, as well as Christina Aguilera, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, and Jessica Alba, among many others. Aside from dealing with legal matters, a brand new clip for Vanessa's upcoming movie "Sucker Punch" - which co-stars Emily Browning, Abbie Cornish and Jamie Chung - has just been released.

Titled "Trenches," the nearly three minute clip happens to be the animated short that inspired the making of "Sucker Punch" in the first place.

Vanessa Hudgens' Weekend Relaxation

In the midst of a busy promotional stretch thanks to having two movies with March release dates, Vanessa Hudgenstook advantage of her sparse downtime with a Studio City outing on Saturday (March 12).

The "Sucker Punch" sweetheart looked cheerful and upbeat as she visited a local eatery to chow down with her family on what was a sunny day on the west coast.On the career end of things, Miss Hudgens has been doing her best to move forth from her hit movie franchise "High School Musical".

Recently asked if the HSM series was officially over and done with, Vanessa replied, "Yeah, pretty much."

She continued to explain, "Ashley [Tisdale] did a Sharpay movie which is just her character. But or the most part you know, it's a thing of the past. Oh my gosh, but it was so much fun."

With her movie "Beastly" currently in theaters, Hudgens can also be seen in a fantasy/thriller flick called "Sucker Punch" when it sees release on March 25th.

Closing out the week with a fitness outing, Vanessa Hudgens was spotted making her way out of a local gym in Los Angeles, California on Friday afternoon (March 11).

Joined by her mother Gina, the two lovely ladies kept their hats low as they shielded their faces from the always-present paparazzi upon conclusion of the day's sweat session. As for her likings, Vanessa recently confessed that she's a bit boring in the social realm, telling, “Parties and all the stuff isn’t really my scene. My scene is honestly sitting around at home, hanging out with my mom and my sister."

She added, “I think I am kind of boring like that. And I love being outside so I would rather be out on the beach than going to a bar.”
