Britney Spears Takes the Stage in Las Vegas!

Making her much-awaited return to the stage, Britney Spears offered up a comeback performance in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday night (March 25).

Held at Rain nightclub inside the Palms Hotel & Casino, the pop princess was all business as she worked the stage with her dancers while performing three songs for a crowd of nearly 700 fans in attendance.Among the highlights, a scantily clad Spears belted out her hit single "Hold It Against Me" while giving a smooch to one of her backup dance team members in the midst of the song.

Being taped for an MTV special airing next week, Britney also treated the audience to renditions of "Big Fat Bass" and "Till the World Ends".

With the show coming just ahead of the March 29th release of her new album Femme Fatale, Miss Spears tweeted just before the gig's kickoff, writing, "Can't wait to take the stage again at midnight...." She added, "Pumped! Here we go people... -Britney"

Britney Spears Makes Triumphant Return to the Stage

To the delight of her legions of fans, Britney Spears made a triumphant return to the stage in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday night (March 25).

The 29-year-old pop star treated concertgoers to a three-song set at the Palms Casino Resort's Rain Nightclub as she gears up for the March 29th release of her new album Femme Fatale. During the gig, Britney offered up dance-infused renditions of "Hold It Against Me," "Big Fat Bass," and "Till The World Ends" - which are all included in her much-awaited disc.

Getting a positive response from the lucky attendees, jewelry designer Heather Bettes told MTV News, "It was fantastic. Britney Spears, she looks stellar. She killed it. She really brought it The beading is amazing on her costumes. She looked great. She brought it."

Meanwhile, Spears was also overjoyed with the Sin City effort, as she tweeted upon show's end, "OMFG it feels good to be on stage again!!"

Britney Spears: Headed to Vegas

For those lucky enough to be in Las Vegas, Britney Spears will be performing a concert at the Palms Casino Resort’s Rain Nightclub tonight (March 25).

The “Toxic” songstress took to her Twitter page today to share the good news with her 7 million followers. “Looks like my little secret isn’t a secret anymore. You’re all invited. Be there or be square, b**ch!” Britney, who will also perform on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” next week to celebrate the release of her new album Femme Fatale, recently told press that she’d be willing to walk away from her music career if it ever became too much for her.

“I’ll be a full-time mom, which would be cool. I’d miss my fans and all of the love the most, but I definitely would not miss having my picture taken everywhere I go.”

Britney Spears' Shopping Session with the Boys

As her big album release/promotional efforts near, Britney Spears enjoyed downtime by going shopping with the boys in Calabasas, CA on Wednesday (March 23).

The "Hold It Against Me" singer walked alongside Sean Preston as a staffer toted Jayden James while the group browsed through the clothing offerings at the local mall's Gymboree store.

As for her new music on the way, "Femme Fatale" is set to be released for purchase next Tuesday , March 29th. Of the effort, Spears recently told Rolling Stone, "I wanted it to sound different from everything else out right now. I also wanted to experiment with all the different types of music I love, which is why you hear a mixture of pop, hip-hop and dance throughout the album. I also really wanted to play with my voice and change up my sound here and there, which was really fun."

Britney also mentioned, "I only wanted songs that I immediately connected to. I also wanted to make sure that this album was completely different from Circus or anything else I had ever recorded. I love Circus, but I wanted something darker and edgier. I also wanted to make an album and didn't want to just record a bunch of songs and put them together. I think Femme Fatale is really connected from start to finish."

Britney Spears' Deluxe Edition Songs: Listen Now!

As the release date of her new album gets nearer and nearer, Britney Spears music continues to find its way to the web.

The "Hold It Against Me" singer can most recently be heard in four tunes from the Femme Fatale deluxe edition - which is available for purchase beginning March 29th. Among the new material are songs such as "Selfish," "Up n Down," "Don't Keep Me Waiting" and "He About To Loose Me".

Talking about her much-awaited release, Spears recently told Rolling Stone, “I wanted to make a fresh-sounding album for the clubs or something that you play in your car when you’re going out at night that gets you excited."

She added, “I also wanted to experiment with all the different types of music I love, which is why you hear a mixture of pop, hip-hop and dance throughout the album. I also really wanted to play with my voice and change up my sound here and there which was really fun."

Britney Spears: "I'll be a full-time mom..."

Britney Spears will quit music and become a “full-time mom” if pop stardom ever makes her unhappy.

The Hold It Against Me singer would be prepared to walk away from life as a recording artist if she becomes disillusioned with it and focus on raising her two sons, Sean Preston, five, and four-year-old Jayden James – her children with ex-husband Kevin Federline. In an interview with V Magazine, she said: “I'll be a full-time mom, which would be cool. I'd miss my fans and all of the love the most, but I definitely would not miss having my picture taken everywhere I go."

One thing the 29-year-old singer loves to do with her kids is cook, and she says nothing makes her happier than enjoying a homemade meal with them.

She said: “I love to cook, especially for my boys. I also make a mean southern sweet tea from a recipe my mom passed on to me. It's really good. I love it. I make it for my boys all the time."

Britney – who endured a public breakdown in January 2008 and has been under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears ever since – also claims she made the decision to step away from the fame game years ago because she didn’t want her children to be subjected to it.

She explained: “I think it's easier to let people in when you're younger, but when I became a mother I wanted more privacy for myself and my children. A life away from my life.”

Britney Spears: Out Cover Girl

With her new album dropping this month, Britney Spears recently sat down for an interview with Out magazine's April 2011 issue to dish some interesting details about her personal life.

When asked who she looked up to when first starting out, the “Slave 4 U” songstress revealed, “Madonna. No question. She is an amazing entertainer. Besides Madonna, I also admire Sarah Jessica Parker’s career and her shoe collection.” On a completely different topic, Out questioned Spears' sexuality and asked if she had any female crushes. To this, she responded, "I only have eyes for men." Brit also noted that everyone should have the right to marry, including gay people. "I think everyone should be treated equally."

Britney Spears Pays a Visit to Ryan Seacrest

Getting a jumpstart on her promotional duties, Britney Spears dropped by “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” today to talk about her upcoming album Femme Fatale.

The “Baby One More Time” songstress spoke highly of her new body of work, set to hit stores March 29th, noting that she’s exploring some new territory this time around. Britney explained, “It’s, I think, my best work yet. I love the album, I actually listened to it on the way over here. It’s definitely something that you want to work out to. It’s definitely upbeat. Will.i.am’s on the record and I’m a dancer so it’s definitely something I can work with. It’s just really fun, it’s a really really fun record.”

“A lot of the people that I worked on this record with, Max Martin, I’ve worked with him on several of my albums and so I love working with him. I stick to a genre of people that I’ve worked with for a while. And then I actually experiment as well, so I experimented working with Will.i.am and stuff like that, so that’s kind of how I work.”

Speaking of will.i.am, “Oh my God, he’s amazing! He’s so much fun and he’s funny and he’s a charm. I love him, he’s great. I love the Black Eyed Peas so when they told me I’d be working with him I was just like ‘oh my God, I can’t wait!’”

Britney Spears Gets Back to the Studio

aving returned to the west coast yesterday following a stay in Louisiana, Britney Spears was back to work at the recording studio in Burbank on Thursday (February 24).

The "Hold It Against Me" singer was dressed casually in a powder blue top and white pants as she hit the exits upon finishing up - then shedding her zip-up sweatshirt to cope with the warm California weather.

The studio visit comes as Miss Spears is putting the finishing touches on her upcoming album "Femme Fatale" - from which she recently recently a teaser clip taken from the song "How I Roll". he “Baby One More Time” songstress’ producer Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald posted a 30-second clip on Twitter much to the delight of Britney’s loyal following, as he tweeted, “i just might be feeling like giving u another snippet ….. maybe….should it be a bloodshy and avant song???”

Britney Spears and Sons: So Long, Lousiana!

Closing out their hometown getaway, Britney Spears and her boys were spotted leaving Louisiana via the airport in New Orleans on Wednesday afternoon (February 23).

Flanked by security staffers, the "Hold It Against Me" mommy led Jayden James and Sean Preston towards the departures gate after an extended President's Day vacation in Kentwood.

Meanwhile, Brit's manager Adam Leber took to Twitter to encourage fans to pick up a special package for her upcoming album through pre-order. Leber wrote, "Limited edition FEMME FATALE Premium Fan Edition now available for pre-order... get it before it's gone -Adam, Manager"

In the Premium Fan Edition, purchasers will receive a limited edition oversized 32-page hardcover book along with the deluxe album digital download an instant MP3 download of “Hold It Against Me”.
