During the taping of US talk show Chelsea Lately, currently filming in Australia, Sophie Monk revealed she has split with her millionaire fiancé Jimmy Esebag.
In the episode which is yet to air on Australian Television, Sophie talked about her new found singledom and joked she might “turn to Samantha Ronson”, Lindsay Lohan's ex-girlfriend. Monk was not wearing her engagement ring and did not reveal the reason why she and ex fiancé Jimmy had split.
Sophie described Esebag, who is 20-years her senior, as a "soul partner" and a "male version of myself", despite being together only 5 months. "He's a keeper. He balances me. This is me changing and being ready for it. I'm relaxing and enjoying the moment."
With past relationships to successful cosmetic surgeon John Diaz, rocker Benji Madden of Good Charlotte fame and multiple links to Hollywood men having all failed, perhaps Sophie needs to return to her roots, in more ways than one, to find love?
