They originally met at St. Andrews University, and yesterday (February 24) Prince William and Kate Middleton were spotted taking part in the school’s 600th Anniversary celebrations.
The soon-to-be-spouses endured the chilly Scottish weather as they strolled around the grounds while the paparazzi snapped up pictures.
Prince William looked dapper in a navy blue suit and tie while Kate brightened things up a bit in her red ensemble with black stockings and black heels. And of course, there were scores of fans clamoring for a look at the Royal couple throughout the event. St. Andrews University announced that they are creating a scholarship in honor of Will and Kate’s wedding.
William addressed the crowd, “This is a very special moment for Catherine and me, it feels like coming home. Despite being one of Europe's leading research institutions, the third-oldest university in the English speaking world, and of course far and away the best university in the world, St Andrews still has that uncanny knack of feeling like home and so it must have done for generations of undergraduates before us.”
