The Winners of Berlinale Film Festival



The Iranian film “Simin Jodaeiye az Nader (” A Separation “), today swept the top prizes at the Berlinale, winning the Golden Bear award and two Silver Bears for the best male and female performances, by all actors. The jury headed by Italian director and actress Isabella Rossellini opted for the film came at the end of the 61 edition of the Berlinale as a top favorite of the festival, both by international critics and audiences.

La Plata as a Special Jury Prize went to “A Torinoi Lo” (“The Turin Horse”), the Hungarian Béla Tarr, who also was considered the second great option to take one of the great prizes, judging by the ratings Critics who follow the festival.
