The Lincoln Center hosted the Big Apple until Thursday evening the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week where more than 90 designers showed their proposals for the upcoming Fall / Winter. Signatures of the likes of DKNY, Michael Kors, Carolina Herrera and Narciso Rodriguez presented their collections with a general tendency for structured lines, brands and designs bicolor with a ‘mix’ of tissues. However, the most coveted photos were those of the other characters: The ‘celebrities’ that from the ‘front row’ of the runway, add a touch of glamour to a parade, so sought after by advertisers of trademarks.
Hollywood had its representation of the hand of marriage made by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, Matthew McConaughey, who came with her partner, model Camila Alves, and actresses Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kate Bosworth and Mena Suvari.
Also could see the faces of popular TV shows such as Gossip Girl Kelly Rutherford and Christina Hendricks of Mad Men, present in the parade of Carolina Herrera. The ‘shows’ from Michael Kors, Rag & Bone and Edun were among the few who were privileged to have the presence of Anna Wintour, editor of American Vogue and icon of the fashion industry. Fergie and Kanye West complete a long list of attendees ‘VIP’, which also adds the name of Kim Kardashian, a regular and red carpets events of this magnitude.
