Representing Australia with pride, Cate Blanchett was seen arriving at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards this evening (February 27).

The “Curious Case of Benjamin Button” babe looked absolutely fabulous in a lavender Givenchy haute couture dress from the Spring 2011 collection. And while she’s not up for an Oscar this time around, Cate told press she’s proud that there are 10 Aussies in contention for an Academy Award tonight.

Ms. Blanchett gushed, “We are a very small industry and to have so many recognized is fantastic.”

Justin Timberlake Takes Mom to the 2011 Oscars

He’s always up for a swanky affair, and earlier tonight (February 27) Justin Timberlake was in the house at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards.

Bringing his mother Lynn Harless as his date, the “Social Network” stud looked handsome in a classic black tuxedo by Tom Ford as he chatted with the press outside the Kodak Theatre. When asked if Ford had any red carpet tips for him, Justin shared, "He told me not to breathe air if I want to fit into this suit."

And Timberlake also noted that he’d rather golf or snowboard than tool around on Facebook during his downtime. "I don't get a lot of free time."

One of the hottest couples in Hollywood, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves were seen at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards this evening (February 27).

The “Fool’s Gold” stud and his lovely lady added plenty of hotness to the Kodak Theatre red carpet as they posed for the paparazzi.

In a recent interview, Matthew explained how he keeps his fabulous physique- lifting massive chunks of stone. 'It's not as simple as it seems. You shift the weight from high above your head, in your right arm, then your left, then rest it on your shoulders, adding more weight to your back, then your legs.”

“You get a full-body workout just by finding out how many positions you can manage without having to set the weight on the ground. You also discover the stronger and weaker spots in your physique.”

Anne Hathaway & James Franco: Oscar Hosting Greatness

hey’ve been hyping up their Oscar hosting gig for weeks, and tonight (February 27) Anne Hathaway and James Franco handled their Academy Awards duties quite nicely.

The “Devil Wears Prada” babe and the “127 Hours” stud were both dressed to impress as they emceed Hollywood’s biggest night at the Kodak Theatre.

When Kirk Douglas came out to announced the Best Supporting Actress nominees, Anne swooned a bit- especially when the iconic actor hit on her! Miss Hathaway also did a solo performance of a song meant to call Hugh Jackman out for not singing with her, after which Franco came out onstage sporting a blonde wig and a pink gown.

Throughout the evening, Anne and James added some fabulous humorous moments to the already-illustrious event while at the same time maintaing the classy motif.

Kim Kardashian Glams Up Elton John's Oscar Party

Opting to hit the parties rather than the show itself, Kim Kardashian was on hand for the 19th Annual Elton JohnAIDS Foundation's Oscar viewing shindig in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (February 27).

Held at the Pacific Design Center, the E! reality beauty looked stunning in a J Mendel dress with Lorraine Schwartz jewels as she posed in the arrivals area before joining the many celebs in attendance.

Opting to skip out on the ceremony in lieu of a swanky soiree, Heidi Klum and Seal were on-hand for the 19th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards viewing party in West Hollywood, California on Sunday night (February 27).

She’s made the transition from actress to singer look effortless, and Gwyneth Paltrow's performance at the 83rd Annual Academy Awards was one of the night’s memorable moments.

The “Shakespeare In Love” actress gave a heartfelt rendition of “Coming Home” from her hit movie “Country Strong.”

he’s about to begin her trial for allegedly stealing a $2500 necklace, but Lindsay Lohan isn’t sweating it too much.

The “Mean Girls” actress appeared in a new video on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” program in which she pokes fun at her legal woes.

Kimmel promotes a parody workout video called “Jimmy K’s Hottie Body Humpilates” including endorsements from babes like Jessica Biel, Minka Kelly, and Scarlett Johansson. At the end of the clip, Jimmy states it’s “so affordable it’s practically a steal,” after which LiLo adds, “Allegedly.”
